really liked it

I liked the first half of this best but overall this was a very engaging read. I absolutely loved the first chapter and wish every adult -- parents and teachers especially -- would read it. I liked the rest of the book too but I got a bit annoyed with their writing style towards the end. It seemed like they were out to prove every assumption about children wrong and I was getting tired of some of the "shocks" being worded the way they were. Still, I definitely think this is a book that's worth checking out, especially if you have kids, want to have kids, and/or work with kids. As a teacher I found some parts more interesting than others but I'd have to say that I agree with a large chunk of the information presented here.
