I wanted to like this book, I really wanted.
I found the premise and the theme both well though and really intersting.
But the writing kept pushing me out of the book. Sometimes I didn't know whose head I was in. It kept changing POV even in the same paragraph.
Chracterization and dialogue were kind of flat. All the characters spoke the same, not really like teens.
And there were lots of plot holes, things that didn't get to a conclusion. Yeah I know there is another book, and I guess it will be a trilogy of some kind. But, anyway, books need to reach a conclusion, not explain a bit in the life of the protags and hope it's all done.
Anway. I'm giving it a 3, not a 2 or a 1 because of the theme, and the premise and the world. I really want to know more about the zombies, and why they are comming out, and why only American teens. And I really wish the author knows the answers even if he hasn't given them away just yet.
