My main comment about this book is that the title is just wildly misleading and off-putting. I hesitated to pick it up because there is an overabundance of vampires, werewolves, zombies, etc. in the YA market, and from the description on the back of the book, it seemed that now we were going to have to put up with vomit-inducing descriptions of cannibalism. Thankfully, the cannibals were metaphorical (this is historical fiction set in Tudor England), but I think the author & publisher shot themselves in the foot with that title, particularly since the description on the back says nothing about the real plot. Kids wanting historical fiction will avoid the book, and kids wanting gory cannibal fiction will be angry that they were misled.
