This is a short story about a college student alone on vacation that lets a cute waiter read his secret fantasies. Determined to help Jamie have a great vacation, Rudiger enlists the help of his cousin Luis to make Jamie’s hidden desires come true. Although the story is pretty short, the level of detail afforded makes it come alive with the feel of the sand, the soft heated wind, and even the rainstorm.

Jamie is charmingly shy as he struggles with wanting to let go of his inhibitions around these two sexy island men, but not quite able to get rid of his inner conservative. Through careful coaxing and teasing, Jamie is able to revel in his vacation fantasy consisting of an erotic encounter between Jamie, Luis, Rudiger and an unknown stranger ~ all in front of an appreciative audience.

While this isn’t exactly a romance, it’s more of a wish fulfillment while on vacation; the story is more than hot sex. The author has an uncanny ability to depict the environment and scene quickly and easily, dropping you into the heat of Costa Rica with all its wild and dangerous beauty. Luis’ quiet crush on Jamie was a lovely contrast to Rudiger’s quick wit and the stranger’s rough domination.

As an introduction to the author’s writing, I was pleasantly surprised and will look for more offerings. For those wanting a quick, hot read set on an island steamy in more ways than one, this will certainly make you want to go on vacation.
