With the onslaught of emo and everyone alway whinning about everything in their lives and waves of depression abounding everywhere, this book would fit right in with the times. The main character moans and cries. Constantly over and over and over again says that he can do nothing. Is alive for no reason. Has no talents. And boo hoo it drones on and on.

I thought the whinning in the first book Wicked was enough. The witch going on and on and on about she never did anything in her life. Yes we all feel this way sometimes, but good grief. If i had to listen to that yammering in my own head everyday I would have thrown myself off that broom into some deep well and disappeared.

The concept was interseting just like the first book. But rather chopped and story lines going absolutly nowhere with no resolution. And ok I understand that is mainly because it is about the son of a witch and not what is going on in Oz, but we could have had some wrap up with a few things. It seems lik...more
