It's actually more like 4.5*.
I absolutely loved the beginning and the days spent in the cabin. I was somewhat turned off by the slight supernatural element which I found completely uncalled for and didn't actually add anything in the story. Overall a great read and a keeper.

KarenH Are you listening to this one, Fani? I've only read a few books by LH but this one was the best.

Fani No, it's a paperback which I found by luck yesterday while browsing in a bookstore. The back cover description sounded nice so I bought it and I was delighted when I came home and saw the good reviews on that one. And now you've raised the stakes even higher Karen! I generally like LH but haven't read a historical one of hers, so this will be my first. I think I'll like it:)
