I never really got into this book of short stories by Keret, a hip young Israeli author. I really wanted to like it and there were a few stories I really liked, but too many of them were just more weird than interesting to me. It might be cultural differences, but I just think I didn't get it.

Some of the weird was good, on the verge of Dahl-esque mild horror, but a lot of it was just weird. Violent and weird.
