Distant Shore by Kristin Hannah was a great read. The main character, Birdie feels like she is disappearing. She has spent her whole life being everything to everyone else, but has lost herself and she is uncertain about her feelings and what is next. Her father dieing has given her the nudge to be brave and take new steps... by finding herself she was able to find her passion, her family, and her love.....

It is interesting that this book came to be read by me at this time. I did not have the language, nor had figured out exactly what was wrong, but I too feel like I am disappearing or at the very least am subservient to others. This book has encouraged me to re-look at my life and find my passion.
