With the same formula as Gaydar this book gives you a bit more angst. Cody was rejected by his family as a teen for being gay, and later on meets Tristin and is a bit jealous that he's OK being gay. That is family still loves him.

The sweet and tender feelings that Kim Dare can create for her characters in just a few pages is really amazing. I love sweet romance, but a little spice is good. Especially when its believable.

The Master and slave set-up is interesting to read in this way. Most times its the sex that's emphasized. Here, being collared, is a sign the Master wants to protect everything about his partner. Body and mind. Its really what made me like the characters as much as I did, and so quickly.
