As suspected, multi-cultural congregations are tricky, as is creating meaningful worship for everyone. Black presented a good approach to the theory of producing what she calls "Culturally-conscious" worship, analyzing situations that can be problematic and focusing on the creation of community that worships both vertically (between the people and the Holy) and horizontally (among the people).
