This is a really good whodunnit, which finds Harper and Tolliver in Memphis. They were invited there by a Dr. Nunly, so Harper could demonstrate her abilities. But in the cemetary there, Harper locates the body of Tabitha Morgenstern, a young girl she searched for eighteen months ago. Now, Harper has a chance finally discover who killed Tabitha.

I had only one problem with Grave Surprise. A few times, Harper fits parts of the story together to reach a conclusion on the case. But it's very difficult to see where she gets these conclusions from. For example, she says that one of the FBI Agents is obsessed with the case, but it is never explained what gave her that idea.
