There is a funny incident associated with this book. HR was not considered recommended reading due to sexual overtones and violence.

I used to read books during long bus rides to Engineering College. My dad allowed me to read provided, I come home and switch to studies.

I read this book in parallel with my dad. I would take it to school and read it during the trips. My dad would read it during late evenings. Our age difference is about 25 years. While we talked a lot about books, HR books were not up for discussion. Now thinking about it almost 30 years later, it feels funny.

What do you remember most about a book, a few decades later? I seem to remember what used to happen at that time more than the story line or the characters.
