Rated 4 for information. Her writing style is immature and left this reader laughing too hard to see the words. This is what I wrote halfway through the book:

The book has some interesting information but it is very poorly written.
In the introduction she says, "The Hypothyroid Sourcebook is meant as a complement to your growing thyroid library." And she introduces her friend and fellow author Mary Shomon as "thyroid sufferer (and kindred spirit) who is a strong grassroots patient advocate for thyroid disease on the internet."
If laughing makes you well I must be getting healthier by reading this book. The ambiguous and nonsensical statements come fast and steady and it is often very funny.

But the information is invaluable, and I am wondering why I didn't read this book a long time ago as I needed to have this information.
