This is the first of Iles' books I've read. It was given to me by my wife. Doctor David Tennant is a member of the Trinity project, a group of scientists creating a super computer capable of independent thought. When Tennant realizes that this might not be such a good idea, the chase is on.

The unique thing about this book is Tennant's series of dreams/hallucinations where he imagines himself as Jesus.

This is one of those books that kept me up well into the night. It's hard to put down. Only Tenant's (Iles'?) strange religious ideas keep me from giving the book 4 or 5 stars.
