I really liked this one. It covers a topic per chapter - everything from surrogacy to delivery methods in the 1500 & 1600s and how things have changed and why. It was very thought provoking and made me step back to see which birth ideas I have based on facts and which ones I have because of what was popular at the time I had my kids. I, for one, would never want to give birth at home, but have a greater respect and understanding for those who do now. It has obvious graphic language (the book is about sex) but in a factual, school-like sense. I think it would make a great book club book if everyone was comfortable about the topic.
