I like the alternate Earth of this paranormal romance. Here, there are angels, vampires and humans all sharing the world. Angels rule, although they let humans pretend they make their own choices. Vampires serve angels, as angels Make them via some mysterious process. And humanity is left to struggle along as best it can with mercurial and possessive angels.

Humans hunt the rogue vampires for the angels, and our heroine is one of them. She is, in fact, a born vampire hunter, able to scent vampires and track them far better than anyone else. The problem begins when the most infamous archiangel on the planet, Raphael, hires her to track another archangel...and you can't say no to an archangel.

Caught between a scary angel and a crazy one, she has to survive them both if she's going to win her life and collect the fee for her services. The biggest problem, though, is that Raphael is very attractive, and he wants her, too.

Paranormal romance with a really good world and excellent, exciting story.
