I haven't read any of Marian Keyes' work before. Checking out the rest of her work in the library, I can see why. The cover art! Ugh. Chick Lit meets romance novel. I have a hard time reading a book when the cover is an underestimation of it's content! Yep, I guess I mistakenly judged a book by it's cover.

I will definitely be reading more. Her style felt as warm and delightful as Rosamunde Pilcher, just in a different era.

This book, I won't go into a summary, was a delightful look at a number of interesting characters at an apartment building in Dublin. Their intertwining lives were fascinating. And the kicker, just who this spirit is that's watching over them, is fantastic.

A definite read. I found myself lost in this book and for that, five stars.
