This is a typical installment in the Stone Barrington series. I like these books because you always know exactly what you are going to get with them. On the other hand, a significant amount of suspension of disbelief is required. Every book, including this one, includes behavior that is entirely too civilized to be realistic, particularly when you are in the midst of a murder investigation. That said, if you liked previous Stone Barrington novels, you will like this one.
