it was ok

This book started out as I expected--stories of other parents pushing their opinions onto the author that I could completely relate to; however, it then seemed to become a social commentary for other things like health care & day care options.

She talked of how we needed to get out of the rut of thinking being home was best for our children, then complained that nanny care was $750/week and she can't afford NOT to work. Hmmm, Our income is less than $750/week, and I stay home. In fact, I think it's cheaper in many cases to stay home--but I won't preach that to her as I don't want to be one of the parents that make up her "Hell".
