it was ok
bookshelves: aging-death-disease, relationship-parent-child, novel-or-story-collection

Quindlen is a consistently workmanlike and polished author but this book failed to grab me. It has a lot of nitty gritty details of caring for a very needy elderly parent, and a fairly predictable murder accusation. I didn’t get any insights of inspiration from it.
