UGHHHH!!!! I can't stand this woman. I don't blame Julia Child for not wanting to meet her either. She is self-centered and disgusting. The language was terrible. She has no respect or compassion for the families of 9-11-01. I was very upset that she felt "obligated" to hand out tissues to the families and console them on the 1 year anniversary of 9/11...she didn't like doing it because it wasn't in her job description. Hello!!...it is in your job description as being a "human-being" and having compassion towards your fellowmen. Have a heart. How would she feel if it was her family that had died on 9/11? Change your job if you don't like it or quit whining about it...I hated reading about it...this is another reason why I don't read blogs. The only credit I give her is that she had gumption to start a project and see it through to the end. This is the only redeeming aspect of the book. I only read this book because my book club was reading it. I don't recommend it for anyone. I definitely won't be seeing the movie.
