Set in St. Petersburg in 1855 and surrounding the daily lives of those fortunate enough to be permitted within the walls of the royal court, Roman spins a lively tale of romance and intrigue with “Kiss of Scandal”. Spotlighting the burgeoning love affair between Nikolai Orlov and Katria Markova, readers will find themselves on a fast-paced journey through the political and personal challenges of those within the inner circle.

Although the scales are weighed more heavily towards romance—which may be a minor distraction for those fans of heavy hitting mysteries—Roman’s talent in developing sinister situations and intense characters is unmistakable.
