so excited my book club chose this for our next book!!

Update - I started this book yesterday afternoon, and couldn't put it down. Stayed up until my eyes started crossing about 1 AM last night, and was up this morning by 7 AM to finish it.

Amazing book. Three strong and brave women. Though I've never lived in the South, it seemed to me that Stockett did a good job sharing the experiences and relationships, both good and bad, of black maids and their white female bosses.

For me, the whole story gained total credibility in the end, when Stockett shares her own feelings and experiences about "the help" her family had.

Riveting book. A must read!

Mary Lee Listen to it, if you can. The audio is EXCELLENT and hearing the different voices adds so much.
