I feel like the point of view took some of the magic away from Stargirl, the character. In the first one, watching her from Leo's perspective built up such a myth about her. She was so different and we had no idea how her mind worked. Now, that magic is taken away a bit because we know how she thinks. We know what goes through her head. It was still an enjoyable read, but the first was stronger.
