Now that I've read this book, I can understand the way my husband communicates and I can love him better in his own special way, instead of treating him and loving him in the way I want to be treated. Everyone needs and wants different things to make them feel loved and appreciated, so being able to know what each person likes makes it easier to choose to love his or her spouse better.

The five love languages are:
Words of Affirmation
Quality Time
Receiving Gifts
Acts of Service
Physical Touch

One important thing I did learn from this book is that love is a choice. No one has to do anything, or be forced to love someone else... this is something a person does to show how much they love the other person. The love languages are a guide as to how to share that love with the spouse, but its a personal choice of love that you are communicating with your spouse in the appropriate love language that makes them feel the most loved.

I highly recommend this book to everyone.
