This was bought as a gift (by my lovely and thoughtful wife!), for which I am glad. This was a surprise and off the beaten path, well, at least for me. This was a very thought provoking book, pondering questions about one's self, be it perceived by others, remembered by others, perceived by you, or otherwise. It also makes you think about how you create yourself, even on a moment-to-moment basis.

Heady stuff, but the book is very readable. While not a gory and violent suspense novel, the book's pace and plotting makes it move like one. It was a page turner and almost a "murder mystery." Although I guessed the jaw-dropper ending from about 80 pages in, it was still compelling, and the author made me want to finish to see if I was correct.

I was. Yessss!
