I generally enjoy books set in England in the early 20th century, and this was no exception although it did take quite a while for me to really get into it. Miss Pym is a guest lecturer in a girls' college and becomes involved in the students' lives.

The descriptions of college life seem SO completely different from my experiences working in a college library. And yet human nature doesn't change and I could find some similarities as well.

It takes a long time for the mystery to develop, but it is worth the wait.
