Cynthia Hated this one.

On some things we have completely opposite tastes!
I met Mitchell when he was over here, and he is the most gorgeous young man. (I think brains are very sexy - and he has good looks too.) I loved the book, but I'd love anything he wrote now, because he was no nice LOL.

Cynthia Well now that you say that maybe I'll change my mind about him! lol

·Karen· I'm sincerely jealous that you've met the guy. Drool. I recently re-read Cloud Atlas, and read Ghostwritten and Black Swan Green, both excellent!

Cynthia Black Swan Green was good. Ghostwritten didn't make my heart sing but it wasn't horrible. Looks like I'm the one out of step here :(.

Lisa Oh, I can well understand Cloud Atlas not appealing to everyone. It's got a very strange structure, and while I find that interesting and intriguing, I think it's perfectly reasonable for people with good taste in books not to like that kind of experimental stuff.
