I don't know why I like this series. Stone Barrington is a wealthy lawyer who can eat anything without weight gain, is irresistible to women, and moves within a circle of privileged New Yorkers who fling around millions of dollars as if it were small change. The female characters are all beautiful, and all ready to have sex all the time with him, but most of them turn out to be conniving, psychopathic or just plain evil. I guess this is a man's fantasy series. However, I like the information and insight that goes into the books, the mysteries are clever, and the interaction between Stone and best friend Dino B. are wonderful. I've listened to most of the series on audiobook, and the narrator does Dino's voice in a way that really makes his character. So, reading it abstractly I find the series entertaining.
