An absorbing read. I was fascinated by her take on Thomas More. A friend commenting on Peter Ackroyd's biography of Thomas More (in my TBR pile), said that from starting out as a firm admirer he ended up disliking More. Wolf Hall left me unsatisfied because it seemed incomplete, ending at the apex of Cromwell's power. I would have liked to have followed through the intricate court intrigues to the Ann of Cleves episode and his fall from grace. However 651 pages amounts to a long book.
