This book was a little slow (and I had the audio version).

Two things I found very interesting:
1) Roll of women in Victorian society. I have read lots of historical fictions around this time period and none of them really talk about how reputation and "what is right" was such a big deal. I honestly can't imagine living like that.

2) The discussions of Evolution and God's plan were extremely interesting. Obviously we've never lived in a time where we questions dinosaurs and that species have died out. I would be interested in reading more on this. Especially the debates.
