Narrator: Charlton Griffin - would much have preferred the version by Juliet Stevenson, Stuck because I purchased it through
Once again, the narrator diminished my enjoyment of this book. I purchased it from Audible during one of their sales. Note to self: resist the sales unless you are very familiar with the reader.
I checked the version by Juliet Stevenson and I am sure I would have much preferred her reading of this story.
Still in all, I don't think I enjoy Elizabeth Gaskell as much as Emily Bronte or Jane Austen. The good humor is missing and I miss that.
