The print version of this book is a contender for the Caldecott. But the story is also great, meaning it totally works as a audio book. The production on this book is amazing, filled with atmosphere. And not in a distracting way, but in a way that adds to the fullness of the story. Which itself is a masterly work of suspense, creativity and history.
