really liked it

Neoliberalism really crumbles to pieces when faced with really simple, common-sense writing like this that is imbued with a clear understanding of what it is really like to be poor and downtrodden and what the failure of globalization really looks like for people on the ground. A short book, more of a pamphlet, and while Aristide's liberation-theology bent is a little much for me, most of this book was eye-opening and informative, and also sad, considering the contrast between the future he wishes for circa 2000 and what has come to pass in Haiti in the last ten years.
