This book was a little weird. The bright colors and the fact that the sun had a kid who turned himself into arrow are just a bit off-putting. I loved the geometric designs of the illustrations even though they were bright. The story was a short coming of age and finding oneself tale. It could have been explored more, but for a picture book with such a big subject it did quite well.
