I didn't get much from this book. Laura is unbalanced and spends too much time giving advise to women, especially feminists. She is also fairly crude and somewhat condemning (which is her typical style). The book was too general and explained concepts that I already knew and fully accepted. I liked how she emphasized "traditional" roles in marriage. I would say this book is good for people who are struggling with the basics.

David Hansen Hey, let's not get too familiar here: it's DR. Laura, not just Laura...

Kylir Horton Haha. I hate thinking of her as a doctor. I don't know why though...

David Hansen Maybe you've tried listening to her radio show and decided that you could the same thing without having to go to all that "school".

Kylir Horton Hey yeah! Her shows are pretty funny sometimes. I don't get how the same people with the same problems keep calling in and don't mind getting totally chewed out.
