Kate Oh, I'm a gal and I'm hooked on this book. Is the prize a dream date with Mr. Tower? I'm there!

RandomAnthony I started this, too, Jess, and didn't get far...I'll be curious to see what you think.

Jessica I think it's too "extroverted" for me.
I'm relieved to hear you didn't get far either--

but have not given up, yet.

Newengland Extroverted? I'm an introvert and gave it high marks (if 4 out of 5 constitutes "high"). I can see, however, why more guys might take to it than wimmins.

Jessica i ain't no wimmin NE.

and am not representative of my sex in any case.

But I've not yet given it a fair shake, so...will (re)report back.

Newengland Hmn. Not sure of the tone there (welcome to the Internet). "Wimmins" is taken from some famous writer or other. "Manunkinds" (for men) I can at least trace -- it's e.e. cummings who thought it up.

Anyway, the tone of mine (#5) was light. Look forward to your (re)re.
