I am sick and tired of revisionist historians trying to put their own twist on the way events happened and intentionally distort the facts in order to make a buck. As an American History teacher and someone who’s taught about Lincoln, I’m pretty sure that there was no way he was gallivanting sadistically through darkened streets of Undeadville, axe in hand trying to avenge his mother and save the Union from a vampire infestation.

I’m also pretty sure that vampires don’t even exist. And if they did, there’s NO WAY Lincoln would have had the time to hunt and kill them once he was elected to the Illinois legislature. Uggg... this makes me so mad. I bet it was just somebody’s gimmicky trick – trying to capitalize on the current vampire craze and rake in a few extra bucks. Well, I hope it worked Seth Grahame-Smith, I hope it worked. I can just picture you counting your millions all doled out in five dollar bills, smiling lustily at the face of the man whose name you’ve profaned.

It’s just, there’s no way. There’s NO WAY that this big of a conspiracy could have been covered up for so long. And now I’ll have all of my students asking me about it... “Mr. Habecker! Mr. Habecker! Is it true that Lincoln actually cared neither about freeing the slaves OR preserving the Union, but only extinguishing the non-life out of the undead?”

Whatever. *I’ll bump my rating up to 3 or 4 stars after the novelty of this faux tirade wears off – which should be any second now.*
