Alice I Have Been tells the story of the real Alice from Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland. The book was interesting. I had always heard that Lewis Carroll (real name: Charles Dodgeson) was a pedophile and one of the children that he was interested in was Alice. This tale has been largely rejected by scholars so it was interesting that the story chose to take that point of view.

The story covers most of Alice's life and shows how Dodgeson and the Alice in Wonderland stories became a constant theme in her life.
