it was ok
bookshelves: fantasy

Usually Glen Cook's Garrett P. I. is a nice little vacation from reality, but not this book. I had a hard time sticking with it and when I did pick it back up, I kept getting confused with which god and goddess were with which temple. For the most part it didn't really matter, because they were all crazy, spending their days bashing each other over the head and conning their followers. I have a sneaky suspicion this is how the author views religion in general.

This book doesn't put me off the series ... I really do enjoy it and will be looking forward to reading the next one. But not tomorrow.
