really liked it
bookshelves: memoir
Read from January 25 to February 13, 2010

A.J. Jacobs is hilarious. Every other page of this book made me laugh out loud. The bible is already zany enough to merit laughs at many turns, but Jacobs elucidates passages and explains rituals in such a way that moderates your critical tendencies. I recommend this book wholeheartedly.

Lauri Zag If you like this book, I definitely recommend his first book: The Know-It-All by A.J. Jacobs
I feel like so many of us want this type of experience (or the time to even attempt it!), and living vicariously through him makes that information-hungry part of us a little more calm (and grateful that it's him, not us).
