I really really liked this book. Read it about a year ago and now I can't realy remember why I liked it so much. Oh yeah, now I remember. I think it was because of the boy's name, Lafayette . Lafayette is a mixed orphaned boy living with his two older brothers. One brother(forgot his name) is the oldest and therefore takes care of the whole family. The other brother(forgot his name too) is now the trouble maker after the boys' mother's sudden death. Lafayette doesn't understand why is brother is so mean to him and as the story progresses the reason is revealed to the reader. A very good quick read. The best Woodson I've read so far besides After Tupac and D Foster.
