really liked it
bookshelves: memoir

Besides the fact that it is heartbreaking portrait of what it means to look different, besides the fact that it grapples in really meaningful ways with what it means to lead the writing life, I love this book because it captured some of the devotion that I feel to my Rachel. Aw.

Rachel Awwww. I read it when you were in Scotland, interestingly enough, because at points Ann is in the US and Lucy is in the UK. It made me love you and miss you even more than I already did.
