Read a few of these types of books (Dawkins, Dennett, Bertrand Russell, etc...) and where a lot of the others come off as a tad angry, Christopher Hitchens made me feel pride. Well, Bertrand Russell was really cool too. This book is more than a litany of the faults of religion. It is a call to arms and affirmation of rationality. Hitchens' grasp of history and religious doctrines is breathtaking. And he writes well. It gave me lots to think about. Glad I picked this book up.
