While there were bits of worthwhile information spattered throughout the book, overall it felt like a soap box tirade on the evils of the food industry - from the farmers to the government agencies in cahoots with those farmers to feed us tainted food.

I was a vegetarian for years and now eat meat. I toy with becoming a vegetarian again, but this book kind of made me want to eat lots of meat just to spite the authors. Oddly enough, it was when I was a vegetarian that I weighed over 200 pounds...I guess I wasn't a very good vegetarian. :)

I gave it two stars simply because there were some interesting tidbits AND they sometimes made me laugh; although I wasn't always sure they meant to make me laugh.
