Summary: It is about a police officer named Officer Buckle, who travels to different schools to speak about safety rules. He is always ignored and the students fall asleep and do not pay attention. One day the police department bought a dog named Gloria who became Officer Buckle's sidekick. The officer took the dog to his next speech and the students were amazed at everything he said. They laughed and cheered and Officer Buckle was so pleased. The next day he received letters from students thanking him for visiting and they drew pictures of Gloria. Soon he was speaking at hundreds of schools and even ended up on television. After he watched it air, he realized everyone laughed and cheered for Gloria, who did tricks behind his back. Disappointed, he didn't take Gloria with him the next time, making the students not pay attention and the school had the worst accident ever. Then, Officer Buckle learned how important is is to have a buddy and took Gloria with him everywhere.
