it was amazing
bookshelves: war, satire, epic, death, fiction, humor, guns, mind-effer, favorites
Read in January, 2003

Been about ten years since I first read this book. It's a favorite.
Look: it's funny but not in the way that makes you laugh. Not that they aren't awesome, but satire has more flavors than just Jon Stewart and Steven Colbert.
That being said, every book its reader, you guys. It's a shame there's this idea that there's this collection of Great Literature that Smart People Are Supposed to Love. If you're just not that into it, well, then you're not. There's plenty of other books in the library, and there always will be.
