it was amazing
Read from June 08 to 09, 2010

It's winter here and cold, and curled up beneath a blanket on the lounge was the perfect way to read Shiver. Stiefvater had me hearing the crunch of leaves, feeling the bitter wind and shivering. There is a lyricism in the prose that paints and weaves and builds the story, the relationship between Sam and Grace. It's compelling, tender and poignant.
Not just for teens, but for any romantic fans of the genre. I have to say I'm not usually a big fan of YA but I have read a few stunning examples in this genre lately - and Shiver is one.
