it was amazing

At the end of this book, I had tears running down my face. There were puzzles in the narrative that I admit I didn't figure out without help. Leo Gursky and the teenager Alma, the narrator in the present day, were two of the loveliest characters I can remember from recent fiction, and Leo's description of his elderly friend Bruno one of the most beautiful, yet plainly written in-character paragraphs to have captivated me. Thank you, Nicole Krauss.
