It has been a long time since I re-read this book and I loved it even more this time. I'd say its only weakness is that , while the first book Interview With the Vampire can stand alone, this one is clearly setting us up for a series.
That said, Lestat is great and I am so glad Rice chose to let him narrate. I find him a lot more fun than Louis. who
does tend to mope.
Anyway, Rice really created our current concept of cool, snarky, sexy vampires so if you are a fan of UF/ PNR this series is where it all started.

I know, right? And whiners are kind of boring.
Lestat is a bad boy, but that's why we love him. Of course...this is fiction.
In real life, better run away, fast.
